I have a question of season ticket holders.
This year we are wanting to buy 4 sets of season tickets for the family. Aside from the normal cost of the season ticket package, do I need to donate to the 12th Man foundation? If so, is that a donation for each set of tickets or what? Any type of help so I can figure how much I'm going to be shelling out would be great!
Thanks :rep: for the help.

Just bend over right now. That's what they will do to you.

You have to pay a donation per set along with the ticket prices and it depends on where you sit. If you want west side tickets just figure at least another $100.00 per ticket.

$100 per ticket? Per season right? Alos, isn't that donation a non set price but a suggested price? So if I wanted to donate $50 per set of season tix I would be put into a priority line right?

No, it's a set price.

I looked high and low for this nifty little diagram they have of Kyle Field and what the required dontation is for every section but couldn't find it. That is what you need.

50 dollars a seat puts you in the Zone. Which is not that bad if you get sect 524 (or the section opposite of that.... I think it's 501) I had those seats for a few years and they were great. If you look at the Zone, it curves at the end so the two end sections of the Zone actually have a side view of the field. It's enough to give you a sideways perspective.

Looks like 50 per seat will get you in the west side after all. At the very very end in the endzones.

Looks like I would go $250 per seat will get you on the 20s on 3rd deck. I would be Zone bound if I was buying tickets.

I think the Zone is where we'll be. I can handle $50 per seat plus the ticket cost(s). Thanks man, major rep given.

I had tickets in section 147. It was $375 a seat and no donation required. Also, the $220 Zone seats have no donation requirement.

Thanks Loftin. I'm going to check into that option. The closer to the field the better!!:rep:

I was at the 1-yard line, on the 12th row. I was also lucky enough to get aisle seats.

I'm sure I'll have a much tougher time getting them to put all 4 seats together.

When did you actually purchase those tix Loftin? It was after all the season ticket holders right?

I bought them in August, and there were plenty left in that section. There were actually a handful of sections in that price range.

Speaking of ticket prices. BB better not jack them up again this year.

He has every year in every sport since he's been here. I would be suprised if he didn't.

I sit in 144 row 28 and i have 2 seats. I pay $200 a seat donation plus what it cost to sit there. 145 is not bad either and its 150 a seat. I sat there for 3 years after I got out of school, then when I got a raise I upgraded to Sec 144. I like being on the student side and it's great for younger grads like me because when we sat on the Alum side when my Dad was getting season tickets it was boring. Nobody yelled or made noise. So I told my dad that when I get out and get a job we were moving to the other side. So my first year after I got out the 12th Man foundation wavied the donation fee and we put in for sec. 145.

He did. Folks are already getting their renewals.

I've been in 145 for 5 years, but I'm thinking about not renewing... twins on the way and down to 1 income means that it would be a bit of a sacrifice to get them this year, not to mention having to have someone watch the boys if my wife continued to go. That along with the frustration of Aggie football the past 7 years or so and high prices makes it a tough decision.

I'm leaning toward just buying tickets to a couple of games.

I've long been a buy individual tickets guy, but I'm going to season tickets this year simply because I enjoy the gameday experience so much.

I'll be in the zone somewhere. I actually like it up there, good views and good breezes during the August games.
