Tornado in College Station

it went right over my house... and the reason the internet feed got knocked offline.

it wasnt a real tornado but did quite a bit of damage.

well, the non tornado ripped the roof off of the apartments and supposedly knocked down the back wall of a strip mall near the outback in college station

yeah i live pretty close to those apts and there were bits and pieces of the apts all over my yard.... ~200 yds away.

there was rotation to it (and a small vortex that was sucking things up) but it was very small. looked like one of those dust storms you see in the desert.

that sucks that most of those people are out of town....who is going to go try to protect their stuff?

it rained pretty hard after so likely theres nothing worth having in those apts anymore.

That there will be some idiot that will see no one is home & try to steal their crap... so not only does their home get torn apart, their belongings get stolen also.

It has been raining really hard here in Austin off an on. Hope no one got hurt. Definitely suck for the folks in that appartment complex. Where was that exactly?
