8-4 was the expectation but I am happy we beat tu. Next year will be a real test playing all these teams on the road. I am hoping for 9 wins next year but I wouldn't count on it right now. I am thinking 8-4 again next year.

8-4 next year would be much better than our 8-4 year this year. Last time our schedule was this tough, we went 5-6 and missed out on a bowl game. I think this will be the best Aggie team we fielded in a long time. I hope they come out and perform well (or God forbid, even overachieve!).

I wanted 10 wins this year.. But I like the possibilities for next year...

Next year is year 5 though... so anything less than 9 wins & next year is wash.... Fran will have to go.....

2 years of consistency is what I want because 2 years normally leads to a 3rd... due to recruiting....

But I want a 9 or 10 with the difficulty of our season next year... 14 wins is what I would love to have!!!!!!

I agree with you Pum. If we have a piss poor showing next year, Fran must go, but, that won't happen. This team has tasted victory, they know their potential, and next year I believe will surpirse everyone and take it to the house.

I agree... seeing what these kids can do against the rest of the Big 12... no excuses.... Next season A&M is in the running with Nebraska, OU, & tu for the Big 12 title.... But our road schedule is going to be brutal....

What I expect next year is an undefeated OOC schedule & no more than 2 losses In Conference.... And Undefeated at KYLE FIELD!!!!!

I originally predicted 10 wins, but 9 is just as good!! Damn it, 8.5 months until this stuff starts all over again.

In looking for a silver lining to this and realizing that getting pi$$ed about the loss wont change anything...

Maybe this turns out to be a positive with a young team to get close to reaching a milestone(big bowl vistory over a very good team), reading all of the press about how great they were becoming and then getting their a$$ kicked to the tune of 35 points! If Fran and co use it to their advantage and use it for teaching, maybe some good can come of it...I sure wish we'd have won though...would have been nice to go into next season ranked but when we beat Miami in Miami, that will take care of itself...gonna be a tough schedule though!

Losing a Bowl Game is not the end of the world....

Case in point...
Michigan lost to Nebraska last year... Where is Michigan this year.....

Many teams lose their Bowl Game & then turn it around the following year...
