Rangers fans, what is going on with this guy, he lost it and attacked two camera men yesterday. This guy has some anger management problems. What is the deal? :undecided

Have you ever seen an athlete benefit from anger management?

He knows when to hold them and when to fold them but I bet he has never played on Pokerstars. I bet he gets his ass handed to him online.

Ok being around here from what I heard the day of the incident the camera guys had been in his face for quite some time with Kenny asking them not to film him cause he didn't feel good about breaking a bone in his hand the other day. Not to mention that the entire Rangers team was a little down after a horendous road trip. Personally I think the camera guys should have just left him alone and all of this could have been avoided. Did they no, was it right of Kenny to go after them like that no, what happens happens and the camera guys needs to quit being such a little douche and get over it.

Suspend him for several weeks if not several months.
What an idiotic thing to do.
The camera guy was doing NOTHING illegal nor ANYTHING bad. He wasn't "bothering" him at all.
He wants the media attention during the good times but not during the bad times? Tough luck, Kenny.

The camera guys were to bothering him according to the Rangers Broadcast crew and had been at him for an hour or two. He should be suspended but not for months, maybe 2 weeks.

He won't be pitching for a couple of weeks anyways cause he broke his none throwing hand.

From what I heard they had been around the clubhouse and Kenny asked them several times to leave him alone while they were in the clubhouse. When they went to the field they just aggravated him and he snapped which wasn't smart. I think everybody is over reacting he didn't hit them he pushed a camera off the guys shoulder. The only reason the guy went to the hospital was to make it look bad he was released once a doctor saw him at the hospital. Hes just trying to ruin Kenny's name and I think its bull that the media is going to spin this to the nation just to protect one of their own.

Whether he was annoyed at them or not, he crossed the line BIG TIME.
Not only that, the camera man said NOTHING to him outside of filming him.
I hope they susepnd that over-paid (as I think all baseball players are) baby

I'm not saying what he did is acceptable at all, its not.
Kenny is over-paid but not a baby. Hes 40+ years old, cut the guy some slack.

The camera guy was on ESPN today saying Kenny had done this type of stuff before, though not to this extreme.

In fairness to Rogers, the media never back off. Sometimes I don't blame the players for snapping, but they will always look bad.

Ok I'm calling complete bull**** on this, I just watched the camera guys interview with ESPN he is straight up lieing about his injury. I'm sorry but when a camera is pushed of you shoulder you don't RE-injure your neck. Especially after its been an hour before you feel the pain once you've talked to all the legal advisors. Not to mention when he was telling what happened afterwards he was blinking at an un-godly speed, he kept making fun shapes with his lips, and couldn't stare at the camera, all signs of a FUDGING liar. Its complete bull**** if they suspend Kenny for more then 10 games cause the camera is just making **** up.

Okay, I will weigh in here, 'cus you all know I have an opinion on most things :gig: I can understand the media getting under your skin, however you have to maintain an air of professionalism. In this case this man has been playing baseball for many, many years, and at the professional level he is well aware of the media. IMHO when you sign a contract there is an understanding that you know what you are getting into. You are a professional athlete with a million+ contract, it is expected of you to have to tolerate the media, it is part of your job. Let's call it one portion of the price of fame. Regardless of whether or not they were harassing him, he has an obligation to himself, the sport, his teammates, and the Ranger's brass to keep a level head. In this case, I think Kenny overstepped the line and a severe suspension is totally warranted. Just MdAgs, two cents worth :D

The guy has had 2 Hernieted Disc in his neck.
Without any doubt, that type of pressure on his neck can cause pain.

I thought that was funny as hell.
And that cameraman is either a puss or a scam artist faker. He didn't get shoved that hard. What a crock.
You go Kenny Rogers!

Seriously if you guys watch the actual film there is no way the camera guy need medical attention. Hell the hospital he went to kicked the media off the grounds cause they got fed up with them. Only good news to this is when Kenny gets picked to the All-Star team Bud Selig said he could play.
