Just wondering if you want to see a rematch of Michigan and Ohio State in the national championship game. This poll is not whether or not they deserve it, but what you want to see.

I voted yes, b/c it will once again show the flaws in the BCS and maybe move us closer to a playoff. I hope that Florida or Arkansas wins out and barely comes in 3rd in the BCS. We need the SEC to get screwed again.

whatever makes the BCS melt down is what I'm going for

I'm voting yes for those reasons as well, and also because they should play in a rematch if the bcs does what it was intended to do.

Plus if there is a rematch and Michigan wins in a close one there is a chance that Michigan would win the BCS and OSU could win the AP championship.

If Mich wins, then we are left with 3 to 5 1 loss teams, none of which played each other... setting up a possible split Champ
If OSU wins, we learn nothing new & we will still have 2 to 4 1 loss teams being cheated out of their opportunity at playing the #1 team to prove their worth or lack their of.

BCS was set up to pit the two best teams against each other. That would be OSU & Michigan. If OSU had lost by 3, there would be no controversy about what people would wanna see. Michigan very easily could have beaten them and had them stopped except for the "roughing the passer" call(BO & WOODY rolling in their graves from that candy-a** call). Florida's going to lose to Arkansas, USC will win out but they don't have a chance against Ohio St., they're way too young/have an inferior defense compared to Michigan. So who's gonna go? The only way you have a close game is if you play the rematch...this time, it's a neutral field & a totally different ballgame. I'm excited to see what transpires...

I vote no. Michigan had their shot and now its time for the next team to get their shot whether it be ND, USC, UofF or Arkansas, I could not care less who plays them, just as long as it is someone different.
If they do re-match and Michigan wins, then we need to have 1 more game for a tie breaker. OSU - Big 11 champions, Mich - National Champions? My prediction - USC wins out and when they beat ND, they jump Mich. and play OSU.

even if Michigan is the second best team in the nation? I mean its supposed to be number 2 vs 1

I want Michigan to play them again, and to win by a point or two. I want Ark or Fla to win out and kill whoever they play in their bowl game. That would be a great scenario to show once again that we need a playoff.

We need the SEC to get screwed again. If that power conference unites to demand a playoff, we just might get it.

That's almost gauranteed to happen every year.

And that is why numerous coaches in that conference and around the country are starting to openly say that a playoff is needed.

If enough coaches eventually ask for it, it will happen.

Is there a contractual obligation for conferences to appear in the BCS games? I know that teams have the option of declining a bowl invitation if they want to. What would happen if Florida wins out, but is still 3rd in the BCS, gets invited to the Sugar Bowl as the SEC champion, but says that they don't want to play in it?

If there was a playoff it would still be very possible for Michigan and OSU to play again. Why would that be any different if Michigan won that game?

Why? Because other teams would at least get their chance to prove themselves, no questions would remain among the best teams in the country... No What If's....
But if you just automatically give Mich the rematch & leave the other teams out in the cold, everyone is left wondering if this is a legit game.

But then the playoff opposers will say:
Ohio State beat Michigan in the regular season. Then Michigan knocks them out of the playoffs. Is Michigan really the better team? There's what if's that could've been had from the playoffs. And if you say, well Ohio State should've won when it was all on the line -- well, then you're validating the regular season as it is now and saying that every game is a playoff game because a loss can all but knock you out of the National Championship picture.

I would rather see the rematch than USC going again.

I'd like to see Arkansas or Notre Dame play tOSU, but they are more than likely completely out of it. A rematch w/ Michigan would be better than a game with USC or Florida.

I want to see what Michigan can do against 'em on a neutral field.
