The guy has got a couple of years left in his contract, and he is fixing to have the crop of players he has constructed himself. These players (Goodson Fr., McGee Soph., Bennett Soph., and Lane Soph...etc) are the best we have had in a while, and most of them have a couple years left. If you hire a new coach you risk having his first 2 years be just like any other coaches, where it takes a couple years to get rolling. This team has a chance of beating everyone they play for the next 3 years, and their best chance right now is with Fran.

But so you know.... I agree with you!

He called 2 bad plays... but it seems out of 145 plays, that's not a bad ratio.
Let it go!

Dennis didn't entirely realize that Jorvorskie Lane was in fact officially "on the team", but I think someone will tell him. I'm sure someone already has.

Hey math major. You said expect 12 people then I posted and you said 10 more to go. 10+1 does not equal 12

Plus, how are you going to justify getting a new coach every time you are about to have a bad ass team. Who knows what R.C. would have done with McNeal and Lewis?

He probably would have let Reggie get arrested a few more times on campus, brush it under the rug some more, and get pushed around by his players. And before SA or Loftin says that my comment is B.S. b/c I don't have a link proving it, save it. I (as well as a few others on this board) know exactly what went on the last couple of years with R.C. and what is going on now, so don't bother asking me to prove it. If you choose to be in denial about it, that's your problem.

Don't you love his inability to judge himself by the same standards he does Coach Fran?
I guess some would only be happy if Jesus Himself called our offensive plays.

Pretty much... if the fate of the Aggie Fans came down to SA quoting me, we would have lost & I guess we would see a ton of "FIRE SA" threads pop up all over on tons of threads....

Was that the Tiger Woods celebration fist pump, or was this picture taken right before he pounded his closed fist into his forehead right after he kicked the feild goal.

Only if he learns to correctly utilize those players. Right now, he's not figured that out.

The guy has failed to accomplish the objectives for which he was hired while being compensated at the highest level of his profession. Many "new" coaches are successful with the players they inherit (i.e. Stoops, Tressel). This was our original intention when we brought in the guy currently on contract.

It would be so awesome if Fran ends up being like Tommy Tuberville. They all wanted to run him off too now they worship the ground he walks on. Just proves how the loudest fans are usually the ones who don't know a thing about whats going on.

Not so fast my friend. It would be awesome if Fran starts winning big games, but it would not show anything other than the fact that it took him about 2 years longer to get to where he was expected to get....and that is if it started happening NOW.

we should make 1 'Keep Coach Fran' thread and 1 'Fire Coach Fran' thread and everyone could post their comments on either thread. having 10,000 of these threads is pointless and makes people wade through this crap to see other threads.
that is all.
Great idea Tro...Admins?? How about it? Upi can tack them up to the top and they'll be there for SA to invade all day at his leisure while the rest of can post sensibly about issues that matter??

That is blasphemy...... We need 10,000 threads on that topic & they wont stop regardless if we win these last 2 games or not... they will continue during B-Ball season & continue strong into Next Season....
Anything less is un-acceptable.

Kinda like you kept football in the proper forum when folks were saying anything about Football & the whole discusion was about BCG....
One of those "Do as I say, not as I do" things huh

Why do people like this mentality from BCG but we're all about moral victories for the football team?
