it seems stupid for aggiefans.com to solicit 12th man donations after reading today's usa today's front page. Coach Franchione is roughly the 7th highest paid coach in the NCAA and we cannot even beat tech, texas, oklahoma or nebraska ONE TIME in his tenure. Yet, we have a thread soliciting donations to the 12th man!? Unless, you are a current student, tickets prices are outrageous (and sold by who?) Bingo, the 12th man!!
This organization is a good organization, BUT it does not need any more money. We have arguably the BEST stadium and BEST facilities in the big-12, yet we can't win more than we lose! 20-21 under FRAN according to superaggie79. Maybe it's just me or the alignment of the planets, but I get a really bad taste in my mouth when I am asked to give more money for this performance.:gig:

we beat in 04' didn't we? It's still stupid to pay a coach (loser coach) that much of my donated cash. I want a refund Fran.

We may be unhappy with the football coach, and ticket prices are virtually theft, donating to the 12th Man Foundation is vital to the success of all sports.

The 12th man foundation wouldn't exit without donations. Football revenue is not near enough to cover the total costs of our total athletic department.

For most of our history Football is the only sport that generates revenue. Now I think Basketball might be breaking even or generating revenue itself but every other sport drains.
