Televised theory [Archive]

Long ago (the early nineties), even though things were better, there was still a theory going around that we never seemed to play really well consistantly when televised. I was wondering how that was going these days. From what I remember (in no particular order):

Citadel - not televised (won)
Ulala - not televised (won)
Army - televised (scary performance - but won)
La tech - not televised (won)
tt - televised (lost)
Kansas - not televised (won)
Mizzou - I don't know if this was televised or not - I usually don't know because I am at the game. (won)
OSU - not televised (won)
Baylor - not televised (won)
OU - televised (lost)
NU - televised (lost)

So, I get:

NonTelevised = 6 wins, 0 losses
Televised = 1 win, 3 losses
Mizzou = ?

Maybe the televised curse continues?

Please correct me on anything that is incorrect and it would be great is somebody knew the answer on Mizzou.

Kansas - not televised (won)
Mizzou - I don't know if this was televised or not - I usually don't know

kansas and mizzou were both televised i know because they rescheduled the mizzou game for an hour later its the one i went to and it was on abc my dad also recorded it and kansas was on FSN so maybe im the only one that saw that or something...

The reason we lose on ABC is because we always play TTU, OU and tu on ABC. Nebraska is also on ABC when we play them.

If we could play Baylor and Kansas State on ABC, we'd have a better record on that network.

Don't let any of the fran lovers hear you say that we lost on ABC because it is better competition. They think we are just as good as those teams and that 1 more year of losing to them will make everything better.
