Faith Hill is a big time sore loser at the CMAs

Not sure if any of you watched the CMA's last night. I heard about this on the radio this morning and found a video of it. Faith Hill was nominated for Female Artist of the year along with Carrie Underwood and others. Underwood was announced as the winner, but Faith Hill thought her name was called. She put her arms up in the air and got up to go get her award and then realized that she lost. She can then be seen yelling "WHAT?!" and getting pissed off. Oh the beauty of live television. It was all caught on tape b/c they were doing a split screen of all the nominees.

It reminded me of the Friends episode where Joey loses the "Soapy" award and starts dropping F-bombs at the show.

eh oh well. I'm not a big fan of mainstream country music. It just goes to show you how far mainstream country has moved away from the values that they profess to believe in and how much they have embraced the "hollywood" lifestyle.

Edit:

On second thought that seems a little harsh. I guess I just don't understand the fusion of top 40 radio and mainstream country. Instead of staying true to what country music once was they are trying to make it sound like top 40 radio in order to appeal to a wider audience. I guess I am just sad too that someone in country music would act like that.

Oh well, REK wouldn't do something like that. But then again I will probably never get to see REK at the CMA awards anyway.
