I always found it odd, that the NFL with shorter rosters have longer seasons & College with longer rosters have shorter seasons... :confused:

I know, I know.... youth & talent and all that... but still...

I'm sorry to see the season end as well, but more games wouldn't mean much.

If you added non-conf. games, teams would just add also rans. How many more of those games can you watch?

I personally like the build up to the beginning of the season. If the season went on too long, then the first game would not have the same appeal. We don't want to turn football into NASCAR.

I agree... I love the build up... I love the pre-season & the expectations that run rampid among fans from everywhere....

Football season goes from March (i think) till November. Oh yeah, that would be sweet.
