Junior big man Joseph Jones, a preseason All-Big 12 pick, acknowledged he could possibly turn pro depending on how this season goes. Jones said he will sit down with coach Billy Gillispie after the season to discuss his chances of being a high NBA draft pick. Jones is on track to graduate in August.


If he graduates you can't knock him for going pro.

Yeah but if he gets drafted, won't he have to be in whatever city the team he is drafted by is located instead of CS finishing his degree next summer?
I would love for him to stay another year, but I honestly can't fault anybody for taking millions of dollars instead of finishing a degree. You can't honestly tell me that if during the junior year of any students time at A&M or any other university for that matter, that if some company guaranteed you millions of dollars you wouldn't drop out and take the job. I know i sure would have, but maybe that's just me.

I think he will only go pro if he is going to be a lottery pick (which he has a decent chance of being).
