Goodson commited at the spring game but his coach talked him out of it when he got home so he could visit some schools to compare with A&M. I am almost certain that he will commit to us again by sometime in the middle of the summer.

I sure hope he re-commits to us, or what have you, but that just kind of irks me the wrong way about his coach. What does that coach have against us? U know i understand the whole argument about wanting him to compare other schools, but how many commits from that school does he tell to de-commit to one of the largest universities in the country so he can check out other schools. Just isn't logical to me.

Actually if I were his coach I might say the same thing. His coach actually just wanted him to take all of his visits, b/c you get free meals and other stuff. Now that is what I heard, but if it were the other way around, and he doesnt like us and he talked him out of his commit because of that, then he can go to hell. Actually even if Texas still wants goodson, I think they are completely out of the picture, and we only have to worry about OU, USC, and L$U..

Free Meals and other stuff? Didn't they just pass regulations stating that the recruits had to stay on campus and eat in the dining halls and stuff. Maybe i'm making that up, but i thought there was regulation passed after the whole cu debacle. Personally i think i would rather stay committed and eat my momma's cooking. But

I don't think there was a regulation for us, I think it was for CU. When I mean other stuff I mean like they get to hang out with the players, and the players will take them places and buy them stuff or go do something together. The players don't have to, but i'm sure the coaches wil tell there players to do stuff like that to help recruits kids. And not just us, I think alot of schools do that too..
