Bet on the pope:
Anybody want to post the odds? (I looked but couldn't find them). That was a hit over on proboards...maybe make it a poll (like we don't have enough).

I hope it's "Pope John Paul" again, "Pope Benedict" just sounds odd.

I don't think i'd put money on it, but that s b/c its impossible to predict.
It's not like your not saying anything bad, but maybe if someone explains to me a reason why it sacreligious, i might agree

How about Pope Damian...don't some people refer to the devil as Damian? Either way, it's still pretty close to Demon...
But I guess that's why he's 80-1 odds.

That southpark ep. took Damien for the movie Omen. The devils child is damien in the movie. It's a trilogy by the way but the 1st is the best.

No later than Wednesday on a new Pope. I'm not Catholic, so I don't want to bet. The politicking involved is probably akin to a 19th Century US Political Convention.

Except for the facts the politicans were protestant and the cardninals discuss whats best for church of 1.1 billion, instead of whats best for themselves and cronies.
