What would you guys do if you were the Eagles? Would you handle it like Green Bay is with Ferguson and not do anything?
As far as I'm concerned they made it to the Super Bowl without TO...obviously, he's not all he thinks he is. He needs to finish his contract he agreed to and stop being a screwball....

IMO I would not come to terms with him. If it is possible, not let him play and not pay him. NEVER trade him and don't let him step on the field for the rest of his contract, then lets see how valuable he really is. If he wants to act like an ass treat him like one.

I would publicly offer him a little more money.
If he says he wants more, I cut his ass.

I think he's showing his true colors now. The entire Super Bowl week everybody talked about how he was going to risk career ending injuries and play in the Super Bowl. He himself came out and attacked the media for calling him an egotistical Wr who's not worth the money he gets. I think the Eagles should cut him, he told them he wasn't going to ask for more money when he signed with them. Whats he doing now, asking for more money. What a moron.

So if he has a bad season or gets injured again, can the Eagles renegotiate to pay him less?

1st off they did get to the super bowl because of him. i do believe he played in most of the regular season games. last i checked you have to win those to make the playoffs. he a good player and i would do whatever it takes to get in in spring training.

yeh he really did help the team out, but are his antics a distraction for the team?? Is it really worth it!!

that freddy mitchell guy was more of a distraction with his oven mitts than TO is. TO trys to win and wants everyone to give it there all like he does

On the field TO's is great, but man you just never know what to except otherwise with the guy. If i were the Eagles I'd stay put and not offer anything, if he misses games you don't pay (which is legal by the NFL rules if its a holdout), if he wants to be traded ,hell no you don't do other teams favors, he just doesn't get paid and stays at home and you see how long he wants to go without a paycheck, odds are he'll come around real soon.

I just dont like TO!!! I think what got me was at a recent interview he had. he was talking about himself deserving more money, which to me is fine but he pulled the " I need to feed my family". C'mon you make millions of dollars already you cant tell me you cannot feed your kids!! If you want a new car, house cool but dont say you need to feed your family!

when anyone who makes or has made that kind of money makes those comments its stupid. if someone gave me a million today i could make it the rest of my life, EASY.

This is an interesting situation and honeslty I don't know which side to go with. The problem is that NFL contracts arent' guaranteed and they are structured where the largest payment is made toward the end. For example he signed a $50 million dollar contract, but he doesn't get this spread evenly over the 5 year length, in fact the majority of that money comes at the end. His point is if I get hurt next year or two years from now, they can just cut him, so the Eagles would have gotten TO for a heck of a lot less than $50 millions. His point is all is in favor of the Eagles, they use you and when they want they can just cut you and not pay, and as much as I hate his antics I have to admit he has a point. From the other side, he knew this was the situation going in, so why didn't he ask for a bigger contract from the onset, you signed the thing so honor it, if you don't have your word you ain't got crap, at least IMHO. Whatever happens, he will come out on the losing end, because folks will just perceive him as money hungry. Just MdAg's two cents worth. :p

True enough on that one 12th :) If someone asks for an opinion more often than not I will give one :p . I see the guys point, but I think he is going about it the wrong way. I think he is a heck of player and can back his talk up, I just hope the new look Dallas D, shut him down. I'd love to see A. Glenn locked up on him when they play, and it would make my Sunday to see Glenn shut him down. :D

He signed a contract and now wants more.
His agent says he was forced to sign it so he could play for another team, not named the 49ers.
BS
You signed a damn contract
