Tight lips, no sinking ships: A&M coach Dennis Franchione isn't going to hop in on the smack talk, at least not publicly, when it comes to playing a team like Baylor, which is 90 miles up the Brazos River and fond of trying to call out the Aggies.
Franchione said on Tuesday that he talks to his players about keeping their mouths shut leading up to a game – any game.
"I want our players to have respect for the game and respect for their opponents – that's the best way to handle those situations," he said. "I'm not saying I'm right – I'm just saying my belief is you let your play do the talking."
