Maybe we are lucky.

Dayum.

We left way too many points off the scoreboard with missed fg's and the game shouldn't have been that close, but NU choked that one up.

That was a hell of a game. Im a little bit more worried about our schedule now.

I don't know what NU will be like on the road in better weather. We got a slow start there for sure.

And we did make the game closer than it should have been.

But NU had more moxy than I thought. That was a good second half. Their pass protection improved a lot even if I do think the refs looked the other way on a couple of holding jobs.

I think Nebraska fed off the crowd. They won't have that on the road (in Kyle Field). They do have a pretty good offense though, so we'll need to have good D.

Texas looked bad in a hostile environment (but got lucky with breaks). They left too many points on the board. Unfortunately, they're good at home and neutral sites and we go on the road to Austin.

I still see us going 1-1 in these two games.

Sometimes its good to be lucky, but they made the plays when they had to.

Just wondering, if A&M were in that same situation, 57 yard FG with the wind at their back, do we kick it with Szymanski? He definately can get it that far, just not sure how accurate. I gotta figure its a better shot than a Hail Mary.

I agree with what you said. EXCEPT the 1-1 deal. I just have a feeling, like I did 4 days ago about tu not covering the spread today. Hunch? Probably.

As much as I'd like to, Fran has no faith in Szymanski. Ever since that blocked FG against Army, Neumann has attempted every FG for us.

I'm sure practice performace has more to do with that.

I agree..... What sucks is Matt burned his shirt.. I am glad he showed up early, but using hind-site I wish we had red-shirted him...:(
