That video has been around for at least 3 years. The guys that made it used it as an advertising tool for their ranch. It definitely worked as the ranch's website got millions of hits after that video hit the internet. A few weeks after the video was out there, there was a message on the ranch's website explaining that it was all a hoax.

These game ranches have bucks that get old or they just weren't as big as the owners would like. So they let people come out there & kill "cull" bucks for little or no cost. Basically, that guy wasn't a customer, he was allowed to go kill one certain deer. But he screwed up & shot a big buck that someone would have paid thousands of dollars to kill.
