So while I was up in Minneapolis this weekend and getting ready to head to the sports bar for the Aggie game, they were broadcasting this race called Primal Quest, I think the sport in general is called Adventure Racing. Anyway it was held in Utah, and from the broadcast it looked brutal. I see from the website that it will be rebroadcast in the near future I think on ESPN2, check it out and tell me what you think.

Call me crazy, but it is something I would like to try! I'm an outdoor type of guy, anything outdoors I love. We could put a "Team Aggiefan" together, ha ha. Seriously, that is some brutal racing, the blisters on the feet were freaking painful looking. Did anyone else see this broadcast, or has heard about adventure racing? I just sort of stumble across it while channel surfing for football scores.

Never heard of adventure racing. I will have to check it out though.

I think I'm going to pass on joining team aggiefan. Massive blisters and grueling conditions don't sound to cool.

Ha, ha, Maybe CoolaidWade will be interested, I think he runs marathons, maybe I just dreamed that. Check out the rebroadcast if you can. Think Iron Man type racing except over some rough terrain, desert, canyons, gourges, mountain biking, whitewater, repelling (sp?) down sheer rock wall, going on no sleep for days.
