Inmate commits suicide hours before his execution

A convicted killer in Huntsville slit his arms and throat last night only 15 hours before he was going to get a lethal injection. Seems pretty stupid to me since that had to be more painful than getting the shot. I guess he didn't want the legal system "to win" and be the one that killed him. Either way, hope burning in hell is fun. He was on death row for killing a gas station owner b/c he didn't have $24 to pay for his gas.
