Can the Admins please make a rule about post padding. I can understand when people reply to every thread several times to have input, but there is a lot un-needed posting going on that takes up space. Dont mean to complain, but if the site is just full of people who care about posting anything for a post just to rise in post rankings, then they are not here for the right reasons.
HINT- Just because you have made it to over a thousand posts doesnt mean you know what you are talking about. Usually when i am on a forum i give more weight to an opinion of a person with a lot of posts, the usually know what they are talking about. (Vly, twelfth, jag, dustin, and others, sorry if i left you out) There is no reason for them to be worried about how many posts they have and filling up the site with a bunch of off topic crap, or too much info that can be presented with a link.

Trying to increase my post count any way possible :gig:
This is not needed on the site.
Not trying to piss anyone off or say anything bad about the people who do this, it just annoys the hell out of me and i wanted to express my opinion on it.

That's interesting.... and I understand/agree with you to an extent.... but personally.... I don't care how many posts anyone has, just so long as what they say makes sense....
But I see where you are coming from....

Right, I dont care if you have thousands of posts, but its the poor quality and posting "just to up my post cout" that really gets me. If you have intelligent conversation or just normal conversation then im cool with it.
So what should the rule be?
I don't think people around here post whore too much. I have seen people do much stupider crap to boost their count. If anything I don't think people here post enough.
I've seen counting threads (where people count to a certain number). I've seen word association threads. Say something nice about the person above you threads. Comment on the person above you's avatar threads.
If that kind of stuff was going on here I might be inclined to agree with you but it's not.
If the powers that be started cracking down too much it might keep people from posting. IMO.

Yeah, please don't respond to this thread just to pad your posts.

I will say this... out of 911 members, I don't think 25% of them post on here.... I would like to see more folks on here posting.... unless of course they don't have anything inteligent to say....

I just think for the most part the rules of getting off topic need to be followed a little closer. It was mostly me just venting some frustration about some pointless clutter on a few threads.

I have a right to my opinion and thought that i would get some input on the subject. Im not exactly comlaining, just taking a look at the situations.
Dont get a pissy attitude, it looks like you are the one that needs to get the sand out!

And its more annoying on this site because each post takes up a large portion of the page based on the formatting.
