Peterson, Bullitt, Misi, Warren played lights out & our front 3/4 got a better push in the 2nd half.

Mizzou did not score in the second half. Isn't that a first this season?

Peterson was definately "THE MAN"! Although today's success was due to an overall team effort, he obviously changed the momentum of the game with his 1 yd line "punch-out". If he hadn't done that, who knows how the game would have unfolded.......

Great job, Peterson!

He also made a great break on the post pattern when Mizzou was going for the TD right before half time. He was able to jump in front and knock it away, saving the TD. He is lightning fast and you can see now what the coaches have always seen in him (and why he was in that situation vs Tech). Kid has some wheels and is a good defender.

Man, we can talk about skills all day, but what impressed me the most was the hustle on that play. He was 20-30 yards away when that ball was thrown. There was no one else back there & I think everyone just expected that to be a TD as soon as Daniel release it. Most DBs wouldn't have even tried to get there. Reminded me a lot of the Dob Bebee/Leon Lett play. Granted, the Mizzu guy was showboating, but the hustle on those two plays were very similar.

This is how he should have defended the tech pass, but oh well. He is still a great DB and has proven himself to all.
