I think that there are definately drugs involved, despite what his father claims. He acted very bizarre.

Having dealt with more than my fair share of Emotionally Disturbed Person's (EDP's) over the last 15 years, I can say that it is possible that Sexton was on drugs. What we don't have here is a toxicology report. Usually when someone is taken to the hospital in such a manner, the hospital will take a blood and urine sample (sometimes forcibly, and it ain't pretty) and test it for drugs.

I have dealt with people who simply "snap" for whatever reason. There are no drugs involved. Somthing "just happens". There is no rhyme or reason for it. That is truly sad. I knew one man who "snapped". To this day, no one knows why. Not even him-and yes, he is okay today, from what I hear.

Reading the report, it looks like Tallahassee PD did what they needed to do, and did it properly.

I hope that he gets everything turns out ok and that he can have a productive life.

sad to hear that he was really sick after being blasted in the media the way he was. hopefully everything will work out for him after treatment. unlike dvoracek at ou, who got a redshirt for getting drunk and beating up his friend, i hope the ncaa gives sexton one.
