excluding the fact that this is a home game for us, this game seems eerily familiar to our game vs osu in 2004.

------------------------------------------------
we had 1 loss, they were undefeated

osu was ranked, i think 16th

osu expectations were extremely high going into the game, from what i remember

osu had a big road win over colorado the week before the game (42-14)
-------------------------------------------------

anyone else think this?

here's to BEATING THE HELL OUTTA mu like we did to osu that year!! WHOOP!!

It seems that being the underdog has been McGee's best motivation to date.

Strap it on because we're not KU, Army, or TECH. Good luck, hope nobody gets hurt on either side, other than that, I think we all wanna see a great game. I don't think there's any real animosity between either school, so enjoy, because I'm sure both teams are gonna leave it all out on the field.

Can't disagree with too much there. Here's to leaving it all on the field.

Hey tigerfan I just thought to ask you.

What do you think are Mizzou's keys to the game?

Keys to the game:

For aTm to win:
Find a deep passing attack. Our secondary is banged up and has some young guys back there. I watched the KU game, if I were Pinkel i'd be having my db's jump the routes ran on the last drive all day, however deep game keeps db's honest

MU:
Our offense: The reason why we're good is the system. I'm of the opinion that the reason why Utah made it to the bcs and why louisville/Florida are good right now is because of the offensive system. Its the new trend and you're gonna see a lot of teams hop on that bandwagon the next few years.

Defensively: Our line has been nasty. TTU had a senior offensive line that looked like junior high players for 3/4 of the game. If you watched it we didn't go for it on 4th an a half yard in the 2nd quarter: leading to 3 tech touchdowns (Chase threw an INT on the second one). It's hard for any defense to be on the field for a total of 14 minutes against TTU.

Therefore:
ATM: If you guys win your offensive line will collectively be the players of the game.

Defensively: If I were coaching against us I'd do some sort of zone blitzing scheme because teams dropping into coverage have been getting exploited by creating mismatches.

Thanks for the insight Tiger.

Interesting you say that. I don't know if saw the poll we had on here about who would be the most important part to this game. The "winner" was the O line. It will be interesting to see what happens.

As far as my keys to the game:

I'm pretty simple. I think we have the offense and defense to win. I think we have to come out early and play mistake free football.
