What happens when you are in the Pay Lots on Friday night???

I am not sure where to put this but I will place in the A&M football forum since it deals with football parking...

I have a question some of you might be able to answer. What happens when you park in a Pay Lot for Saturday home games on Friday night and not come back to your car until Sunday? Does A&M make you pay on your way out if you leave before the game starts? Do they ticket your car? Do they tow your car? Does anyone have any insight to the policy of A&M for this? Thanks to all!

I think they tow your car or ticket at the least....but I'm pretty sure they tow (or atleast threaten to)

When I was a student and had a commuter pass I used to park out in the lot near Olson field. They used to put a sign up saying that you had to have your car out of the lot by like 5 pm on Friday. I think they towed too if you did move it.

Either way those people are dangerous and circle like vultures to give out parking tickets. You don't want to take any chances.

The lot I am talking about is PA 97. I don't have any type of A&M parking permit but was curious.

I was noticing that PA 100c (Reed Arena) says that for vehicles parked overnight. Does this require an A&M permit or any vehicle?

I believe after 1:00 or 2:00 AM, it converts back. I'm sure by the time the sun comes up Sunday, you'd better be outta there or they auction your car as if it were confiscated in a drug seizure.

The key is to not have anyone screw with the car until after the game starts. I can then move it into Lot R without any problems. Tickets don't bother me and I don't think they can tow unless it states they can or so my cousin tells me who is a cop.

I can tell you that they were towing from the RV lot behind Reed at 6:00 on the Friday of the tech game. I don't know about the pay lots. But I saw a lot of cars get jerked out of the RV lot on that Friday evening.

Yeah I bet the RV lot spots are pretty expensive. So towing people ASAP is no suprise.

But this is not the RV lot I am speaking of. One lot is the Pay lot that you have parked in Dustin and the other is across the street in Reed.

We park in front of Kleberg which is a pay lot the night before and then get there around 8 and pay them for the spot. PA97 is a ten dollar lot just like that so I would think it'd be fine.

The way it works is you have to be out of 12th man lots Friday night if not you're allowed to park anywhere on campus after 5:30 on Fridays no matter what. Gameday parking doesn't officially start until 8 am on Saturday.

Yes all cars parked in 12th man lots are towed Friday nights before the game. They just tow them to some corner on campus, I don't think it costs anything to get it out, but you will lose your spot and it is a pain in the ass to find your car.
