[Reed Rowdies] The Madness Begins

Howdy Rowdies,

IMPORTANT FOR YOU LAZY PEOPLE WHO DON'T READ THE WHOLE THING: WEAR REED
ROWDIES SHIRTS FRIDAY and Meet FRIDAY at 10:15 at E King Gill so we can
save our seats for Maroon Madness. Get everyone you know to come early to
midnight yell so that we can have a huge section of basketball nuts down
by the court. And tell everyone you see friday about midnight madness.

WE NEED HELP! Anyone who wants to hang out and chat hoops with some other
Rowdies can go to either Wehner or Rudder Plaza starting tomorrow and
going through Friday and help spread the word about Maroon Madness on
Friday. We need people out there spreading the good news so if you have
time just come by the basketball hoops you'll see out there. If you want
to go out there and aren't sure where to go contact the special events guy
Cody at coro805 at tamu dot edu.

Now, it's time to start getting Rowdy. Friday night college basketball
teams are allowed to start practice. Since we have a homegame saturday
Midnight Yell practice and Midnight Madness will be combined into one big
event at Kyle Field. They'll put a basketball court down on the field and
introduce the team. Now in true Rowdy style we want to show as much
support as possible so we're going to meet at the 12th Man statue at
10:15. I know that's early but they gates usually open at 10:30 (and trust
me we will have competition for our seats), and the women's team starts
their practice at 11:20 so we want to show them some love too.

Also wear your Rowdies shirts friday if you have them, and tell your
friends that may not be on the listserv to wear theirs as well. It's time
we come out and force and get this campus ready for a little FIGHTIN TEXAS
AGGIE BASKETBALL.

That's why basketball attendence sucks before Christmas.

I go to all the home basketball games, but I really don't get into until football is over.
