We can always use another kicker.

Szymanski is a very good kicker. He shared kicking duties last year with Gibby Sawtelle who is another good kicker. He can easily put it through the endzone on kickoffs.

Pegram won't be around in 2 years so this is good timing.

Well...he only did kickoffs last year but judging from his kickoffs...I bet he could hit FGs from 50...maybe a little further.

Here's an article on him:

Apparently he's doing all the kicking this season, so we can get a good idea on how he kicks fg's and xp's....

he has a very good practice ethic. He has a very strong leg and good accuracy!! And of course he is from Consol so he has to be good!!!

As long as the kid can put it in the endzone during kickoffs consistently we need him. I can't remember the last time we had that luxury, in fact I tense up everytime we have to kick off, I'm thinking either shank, out of bounds or the opposing team will field the kickoff on the 25 yard line, difficult to win the field position battle with that, just my two cents worth. :D

Well it is for sure he'll kick off at least once during an aggy game, but more than that is questionable.

Nice jab there Horn Express ;) , fair enough you are entitled to your opinion. I happen to disagree, our running game has been terrible the last few years with a few bright spots here and there, but I'm thinking that is going to change soon, and then........................well, he might be kicking off more than once :D . The running game opens everything up and it makes Reggie all that more dangerous when he isn't the only one they have to key on. :p
